Farmer managers in bovine and ovine animal husbandries can easily track animals up to certain amount, but it would be difficult when this count increases. Advantages of AniRef

These collars placed with a belt on necks of animals that need to be milked and monitored can be used in many areas of the farm (milking parlor, feeding cabins etc.) together with antenna systems and the determination of related processes for that animal is possible after the animal is identified through these collars. Collars are made from an ageless material and no breaking and splitting would happen due to its flexibility. It keeps working even it is fully covered in dirt. Being battery free is its biggest advantage. When the animal that collar was placed on leaves the herd due to sale, death etc. it is able to place same collar to other animals.

What Identification Is, How Does It Work?

All animals in the herd would continue their lives with an ear tag number placed after their births. This is also an identification in some way. However, in big dairies, some processes need to be done without manpower. Ear tags are not enough for processes such as milking and measurement of milk, estrus monitoring, weight monitoring etc. to be done automatically.
